THE WORTHING SOCIETY

Safeguarding the character and life of the town, by acting as a watch-dog for future developments to stop the needless demolition of buildings of historical and architectural value. Conserving essential green areas of our heritage, to enhance the present conditions of the town and surrounding areas. New members welcome.

KEENES DANCE STUDIO

Learning to dance is fun, keeps you fit and your brain active. Established 1986, the family-run studio give lessons for all ages and abilities, in ballroom, Latin, sequence, line, street and freestyle, working with you to make you feel comfortable. One-to-one tuition also available. Monthly social dance nights, and weekend dance holidays.

SINGWELL COMMUNITY WELLBEING CHOIR

Bringing people together, everyone welcome and every voice valued. Fun, friendly and inclusive choir. Builds friendships and confidence, improves mental and physical health, bringing joy and hope for all. Singing a wide range of pop, rock, gospel and show music. Join at one of their locations in Sompting, Shoreham, Durrington and Worthing.

Champion of the community, your glossy magazine of the past and present, takes the authorities to task where needed yet gives praise where due. A unique mix of history, gossip, opinion, news and current affairs, delivered monthly, purchased from selected newsagents, cafes, pubs and community centres, or emailed digitally.

WORTHING MUSICAL COMEDY SOCIETY

They rehearse in their own studio and perform at the Connaught Theatre. Join and become involved with productions, on stage, behind the scenes or front of house. A Youth Company from age 8 offers musical theatre workshops including dance, acting, singing and percussion, as well as backstage make-up, lighting and sound.
